The Ultimate 7 is a synthesis between the lively firm feel of the Galaxy and the luxurious sink-in feel of the Gemini and was the most impressive mattress at the 2004 Futon Expo. The Ulimate 7 surrounds an oven-tempered Bonnell innerspring unit with 6" of 4.0 lb. high density Neutron™ convoluted foam (as dense as natural latex), giving an initial softness backed by a deep underlying firmness for great comfort and relaxation. Please
note: The Ultimate 7 mattress intended for a platform bed (i.e.
lying flat only and not sitting on a futon frame) is constructed
differently from the Ultimate 7 intended for a futon frame. The innerspring
unit of the platform bed Ultimate 7 is one single unit, which gives
a more even, unified support but which means the mattress cannot
sit on a futon frame.
Daily Use Lifespan: 10-12 years. All of our hi-tech futon mattresses
will not turn rock hard, develop lumps or become misshapen like
traditional cotton and foam futon mattresses. They are designed
to retain their shape and comfort for years longer than any traditional
futon mattress.
The

is the shipping cost of the Ultimate 7 futon mattress?
The price shown includes standard UPS Ground shipping anywhere in
the United States except for Alaska and Hawaii. For information

What's up with special order mattresses & shipments to California?
A special order mattress is one we do not regularly stock in our warehouse and ANY mattress shipped to California. Why California? Well California has different fire codes than the rest of the nation, so we can't ship our standard mattresses to California addresses. You have two delivery options with a special order mattress: Standard, which takes 3-4 weeks; and Quick-Ship which costs extra but takes 1-2 weeks.

How
long will the Ultimate 7 last?
We conservatively estimate that the Ultimate 7 will last for 10-12 years
of daily use. Our hi-tech futon mattresses last much longer than
traditional cotton & foam futon mattresses because of their
pressurized, high-density foam construction.
Because they have no cotton or wool, they do not get lumpy, hard

Is
there a warranty?
All
hi-tech mattresses are warranted by the manufacturer to be free from
