Why does a full size futon make a better couch than a queen size?

• Nicer proportions. The extra width of the queen size mattress (60" versus 54") creates a higher back sofa which alters the feel of the sofa.
• Smaller & easier to convert. With both the frame and the mattress smaller, it is easier to convert a full size futon.
• Seats the same number of people. A queen size futon frame only adds 5" of seating space, enough for a cat but not for a person.
• Sleeps the same number of people. A full size futon can sleep 2 adults easily.

Our queen futons are great sofas and beds but in most cases, we would recommend a full size over a queen.

Why choose a queen size futon rather than a full size futon?

• Sleeps 2 adults more comfortably. While a full size futon can sleep 2 adults easily, a queen size futon does so more comfortably, especially if it is what the adults are used too.
